Police are searching for one of the two drivers who is believed to have played a role in the fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Walled Lake, Michigan.

The body of Brian Latuszek, 40, of Novi, was found by authorities in the roadway on Pontiac Trail near West Park Drive around 12:15 a.m. Oakland County Accident investigators said Latuszek was hit by at least two westbound vehicles, both fleeing the scene without stopping. Fortunately, witnesses were able to call 911 for help, stated Sgt. Paul Shakinas.

One of the two drivers who hit Latuszek, a 30-year-old woman from Fenton, turned herself in to police on Sunday night, according to police.

The second driver is still at large. According to Walled Lake and Wolverine police, the suspect had been driving a 2006 or 2007 silver Honda CRV that would most likely have front-end and/or undercarriage damage.
