Man Lost Fingertips in Lawn Mower Accident
A man lost his fingertips in a lawn mower accident Wednesday afternoon.
The 66-year-old Provo man was operating his lawn mower at his residence near 2300 West and 900 North when he reached beneath the machine, which was still on, slicing off the tips of four fingers on his right hand.
The man was transported to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center where he was listed in good condition.
It may be difficult to reattach the fingertips because of the rough cut.
