Man Run Over by Mower Suffers Fatal Injuries

A man suffered fatal injuries in an accident involving a mower in Mitchell, Nebraska Tuesday.

Jesse Guzman, 52, of rural Mitchell, was in a pasture east of town mowing weeds when the mower deck struck a pipe. Guzman turned off the mower and got off the tractor to remove the pipe.

According to Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s investigator Mike Cotant, somehow the mower deck then ran over Guzman.

Guzman bled to death in the tragic accident after midnight Tuesday.
