Man Seriously Injured in ATV Accident
A man suffered serious injuries in a ATV accident in the Valley High Timber Farms subdivision June 20.
The man in his 40s, whose name has not been released, was riding the ATV on Gamble Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into the woods off the roadway just before 5:40 p.m. June 20.
A witness called Morgan County 911 Dispatch Center and rescuers responded to the scene.
The man, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was unconscious when rescuers arrived and was airlifted to Washington County Hospital with serious injuries.
