Mason Jogger Injured in Pedestrian Accident
A man suffered injuries when he was struck by a tow truck while jogging Monday afternoon north of Mason, Ohio.
Fred Schlimm, 45, of Mason, was jogging northbound on Ohio 740 when he hit by a southbound tow truck driven by Harold Groves, of Dayton, around 12:45 p.m. as he attempted to cross the street in the 2000 block of the roadway, north of Mason in Turtlecreek Twp.
Schlimm was flown to University Hospital in Cincinnati where he was listed in serious condition.
Police do not believe that Groves was at fault. The accident is under investigation.
