A Massachusetts woman was struck and killed by an Amtrak Acela train Tuesday night.

The woman has been identified as Anne Coyne, 38, of Mashfield, Massachusetts, said Warwick Police Maj. Joseph Tavares. Coyne had been reported missing Tuesday morning after she had an altercation with her boyfriend, according to Tavares.

The train, carrying 123 passengers, had departed from Washington, D.C. and was on its way to Boston. No one on the train was hurt in the accident, which occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday on the train tracks near Jefferson Blvd.

The speed of the train when the collision occurred is unknown, but it is possible that it was traveling 150 miles-per-hour, according to Amtrak officials.

The accident is under investigation.
