Millard County Man Killed in ATV Accident

A man was killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident Saturday morning at Little Sahara Recreation Area in Utah.

The 57-year-old man from Millard County was riding with his wife on an ATV on the back of Sand Mountain when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to rollover around 11:30 a.m. The man, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, became pinned between the ATV and a tree. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The man’s wife was thrown from the vehicle and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
