Minneapolis Woman Killed in Head-On Collision
A woman was killed in a head-on car accident Tuesday afternoon on Highway 169 in Minnesota.
Elleny T. Belayneh, 19, of Minneapolis, was the passenger in a northbound 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix on Highway 169 when the vehicle crossed the median near Pioneer Trail and collided head-on with a southbound 2004 Pontiac Aztek just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Belayneh was killed in the accident.
Neither of the drivers involved suffered serious injuries.
Officials with the Bloomington and Eden Prairie police departments responded to the collision scene.
