Motorcyclist Injured in Texas Accident
A man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident in southwest Lubbock, Texas early Thursday morning.
The 27-year-old motorcyclist was traveling at about 45 miles per hour when he ran into a sign on the roadway at 71st Street and Quaker at about 1:20 a.m. Thursday morning.
The man, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, was transported by EMS to the hospital suffering serious injuries.
It is unknown at this time what caused the accident, which is under investigation.
