Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on Route 3
A man was killed in a motorcycle collision early Saturday morning on Route 3.
Robert Joseph Griffith, 31, of of the 5200 block of Lake Ave. in Shady Side, was riding a 2001 Suzuki southbound on Route 3 when he began to lose control of the vehicle around 1:15 a.m. Saturday.
The motorcycle drove into a curb, causing the vehicle to fly into the air and hit a tree.
Griffith was killed in the accident.
