Motorcyclist Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident

A Fort Worth man suffered fatal injuries in a two-vehicle motorcycle accident near Sanger Sunday afternoon.

Brian J. Mitchell, 38, of Fort Worth, was riding his motorcycle on FM455 west of Sanger when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed the median, where he was struck by an oncoming car around 12:50 p.m. Sunday.

Mitchell, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth where he was pronounced dead from injuries he suffered in the crash.

The accident is under investigation.
