Multiple Car Accidents in Pennsylvania
Multiple car accidents resulted in minor injuries on the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike in Pennsylvania Thursday.
A collision between two tractor-trailers occurred at about 12:40 p.m. on the Northeast Extension above the Lansdale interchange. One of the trucks caught fire in the accident. Police said only minor injuries were reported in the collision. All northbound lanes were closed after the accident.
Another accident occurred a couple hours later at 2:55 p.m. on the southbound lanes of the Northeast Extension involving multiple vehicles. The collision happened at milepost 37.3.
Just a few minutes later, at 3:04 p.m., another collision occurred in Towamencin, two miles south of the Lansdale interchange.
