Mystery Illness Sickens 300+ on Brazilian Cruise Ship

340 people have reported sickeness been cruise ship in northeastern Brazil. So far, what is causing the sickness is a complete mystery.

According to reports, the victims are suffering severe diarrhea and vomiting. Doesn’t sound like a ship anyone would want to be on doese it? Hopefully they stocked up on toilet paper.

An investigation on what caused the unknown illness on the MSC Sinfonia, now docked in Salvador, Bahia, is underway.

The cruiselines is owned and operated by MSC Cruises, a division of the Geneva-based Mediterranean Shipping Co. So far, nobody from MSC Cruises has commented on the outbreak.

The ship left Rio de Janeiro on Friday with nearly 2,000 passengers. Most of the passengers were Brazilian but there were passengers from other countries on board as well.

  1. It’s sad how so many people can get sick on a cruise ship. Then, there is nothing done about it. People should really step up and start hiring lawyers to help them get compensation for cruise ship injuries.
