Ohio Woman Injured in Hummer Roll-Over Accident
A woman suffered serious injuries when she was involved in a roll-over accident in a Hummer Wednesday in Ohio.
Theresa Tanner, 26, of Marion, was driving a Hummer eastbound on Richland, just past the Somerlot-Hoffman Road intersection, when the vehicle ran into a guardrail just before an overpass across U.S. 23. The Hummer rolled over off the right side of Richland Road, eventually coming to a rest in a ditch near U.S. 23 where the vehicle caught fire.
Tanner was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was able to escape. Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a call about the accident at approximately 1:41 p.m.
Tanner was airlifted to Grant Medical Center, Columbus. According to a troopers report, her injuries were serious.
