Ohio Woman’s Arm is Severed while Towing her Car

A 36-year-old woman was seriously injured Monday when her arm was torn off in an accident that occurred while towing her vehicle.

Helen Foster of Ohio was towing her minivan with the help of some friends then a braided industrial rope suddenly broke and in the process ripped through her arm.

Foster was cut at the elbow and rushed to a nearby hospital, where with surgery they were able to reattach the limb.

According to family members, they are still not sure if Foster will have full functionality in her reattached arm.
