Olympic Speedskater Killed in Car Accident
Three-time Olympic speedskater Ed Rudolph was killed in two-vehicle accident in western Wyoming Sunday afternoon.
Ed Rudolph, 68, was driving a 2005 Acura in eastern Wyoming when he was struck by a GMC Suburban that had swerved to avoid a deer. Rudolph and his wife, Gwen, were both killed in the accident.
The driver of the Suburban, Daniel Wahlen, 52, and passenger Dani Elenga, 47, were also killed.
Rudolph was on the 1960, 1964 and 1968 U.S. Olympic teams.
Dan Wahlen was an extraordinary person, he used to help other people..
