One Injured in Motorcycle Accident
One person suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident Wednesday morning on Interstate 79.
The accident occurred at the on-ramp of the Kingmont exit from Interstate 79 near mile marker 134 around 11 a.m. Wednesday. The on-ramp was closed and traffic was backed up for miles while the accident was cleared.
A passenger on the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital as a precautionary measure.
The accident is under investigation.
