One Injured in School Bus-Car Collision
One person was injured in an accident involving a school bus and a personal vehicle Wednesday morning in Maryland.
The Allegany County Public School bus, carrying two Beall Elementary School students, two FSU transition program students, one aide, and the bus driver was in the process of transporting students to schools. At the intersection of Midlothian and Shaft Roads the school bus collided with a personal vehicle that had failed to yield.
None of these six individuals on the school bus suffered from any injuries. The driver of the personal vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The Maryland State Police, the Frostburg Ambulance Service, and the ACPS supervisor of transportation responded to the scene. All parents of the students involved were contacted. School health nurses will periodically examine the students involved throughout the day.
