One Person Injured in SUV Rollover Accident
One person suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle rollover accident on State Route 67 in California Wednesday morning.
A sports utility vehicle was traveling southbound on State Route 67, north of Slaughterhouse Canyon Road when the vehicle overturned, rolling down a 50-foot embankment at about 7:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Multiple people were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be freed by emergency responders. One person in the wreck was airlifted to the hospital, said a Heartland fire dispatcher. The extent of the injuries and whether any other people were injured is unknown.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
