Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Hit-And-Run Dentist

A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday afternoon.

A pickup truck turned from South Virginia Street into the parking lot of a Wells Fargo Bank just south of Peckham when, according to witnesses, the pickup collided into a female pedestrian. The pickup did not stop after the accident and fled the scene, exciting through the parking lot of the bank. The accident happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The woman was transported to a hospital suffering from serious injuries.

The accident was witnessed by several people little information could be provided regarding the vehicle. The pickup was possibly either silver or light copper in color and may be a Ford F150, said police.

The Reno police are investigating the accident.
