Police Chase Causes Car Crash

A major accident involving a police chase, multiple vehicles, and a suspect driver resulted in multiple injuries on the Bruckner Expressway in New York Thursday afternoon.

Apparently police began chasing a driver in a white Infiniti northbound on the Bruckner Expressway in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx after reports of the driver’s possible involvement in a shooting. The chase caused a collision between other vehicles traveling near White Plains Road around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

All lanes of the Bruckner Expressway were closed temporarily but have now been reopened.

It is unknown the number of vehicles involved in the crash, but multiple injuries have been reported.

The suspected driver is still being pursued.
