Pro Golfer Ken Green Has Leg Amputated After Fatal Crash
Champions Tour golfer Ken Green had to have his leg amputated Monday following a fatal car accident June 8.
Green was traveling with his brother, William Green, and his girlfriend, Jean Marie Hodgin when the vehicle left the highway and struck a tree in east Mississippi June 8.
William Green and Hodgin were killed in the accident.
Green suffered severe injuries and had his lower right leg amputated Monday at a Jackson, Mississippi hospital. According to Green’s agent Kevin Richardson, Green is resting and in good condition.Green will go through rehabilitation and get a prosthetic limb
Green, a five-time US PGA Tour winner who has played the past two seasons on the Champions Tour, hopes to return to competition.
