Reno Woman Killed in Hit-And-Run Accident
A woman died Monday after a hit-and-run accident that occurred March 10 on South Virginia Street in Reno, Nevada.
Lisa Ann Reaves-Hinton, 53, of Reno, died at her home Monday from injuries suffered in the accident.
Reaves-Hinton was walking on a sidewalk on South Virginia Street when she was struck by a pickup truck that was attempting to turn into a Wells Fargo Bank, said police. The driver of the truck drove away from the scene without stopping.
Reaves-Hinton was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center, where she was released a few days later and she had been living at her home. An autopsy was planned Tuesday.
According to investigators, witnesses described the truck that was involved in the hit-and-run accident as full size, silver or light copper colored, with an extended cab. The accident is under investigation.
