Roy Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident

A Roy man was killed in a motorcycle-car accident.

Dallas Olsen, 29, of Roy, was riding his motorcycle westbound on 5950 South when he was hit by a car that was pulling out of a parking lot near 1900 West.

Olsen was thrown from the motorcycle and struck by a second vehicle.

Olsen, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The accident is under investigation.

1900 West was closed for several hours as authorities responded to the accident.
