San Diego Man Killed on Dump Truck

A 38-year-old San Diego man was killed Tuesday when he became pinned under the bin of his dump truck.

The victim was driving away from an unloading site when he noticed the bin on his dump truck was in upright position. According to the authorities, the man then crawled in between the cab and the bin to fix what was keeping it propped up. The bin then fell on top of the man and trapped him.

Other employees of the Landfill rushed over to help the victim but they were unable to revive him. Medical crews arrived on the scene, but were incapable of helping as well.

The Medical Examiners Office determined the unfortunate death to be an accident.
