Sandy Lake Man Injured in Bicycle Accident

A man was hospitalized after a bicycle accident in Greenwood Township Wednesday night.

41-year-old Sandy Lake man, whose name has not been released as of Thursday morning, was riding a Huffy bicycle on Pine Road when his front wheel collapsed, causing him to be thrown over the handlebars and onto the ground one mile south of Atlantic Road at around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The man was airlifted to the hospital to be treated for injuries. His condition has not been released.
