Seattle Window Washer Plunges 8 Stories Down Side of Building

A Seattle window washer was injured Thursday after plunging eight stories down the side of a building by a rope.

After slamming into one of the seventh floor’s windows, the worker’s rope got caught on the second story causing him to come to a stop inches above the ground.

Employees inside the building rushed outside to find the man hanging about one foot off the ground. The unidentified washer survived only minor injuries from the almost fatal accident.

Police are conducting a full investigation into the incident. An explanation for the fall is still unknown.
