A teenage student was killed Friday morning when he crashed his motorcycle into four parked cars in his high school parking lot, according to officials.

The Wylie High School student Nicholas Todd Davis, 19, of Sachse, Texas, was doing stunts on his motorcycle when he lost control of the bike shortly before 9 a.m. and slammed into multiple parked cars, stated Wylie school district spokeswoman Susan Dacus.

Davis was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but it seemed to fly off in the collision, said witnesses. Davis was transported to Medical Center of Plano, where he was pronounced dead.

The high school continued classes as scheduled, Dacus said. Counseling for students was provided in its library.

The accident is under investigation.
