Students Injured In Hit-And-Run Bus Accident

Several students suffered minor injuries in a hit-and-run accident involving a Chesapeake school bus Tuesday morning.

A driver, described as a black man wearing a green vest, traveling in an Acura collided with the Chesapeake school bus on Interstate 264 at Ballentine Blvd. at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Acura fled the scene after the accident.

Several students riding in the school bus complained of injuries and were treated. The school bus aid was transported to the hospital with back injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
