Tabor City Teenager Killed in Car Accident
A teenager killed in a car accident Wednesday afternoon marks the 14th in Columbus County in the past 39 days.
Joey Soles, 18, of Tabor City, was in an accident on Prison Camp Road just south of Whiteville and was ejected from his SUV. Soles was not wearing his seat belt and was attempting to escape arrest for not having a driver’s license. Soles was killed in the accident.
Soles’s death marks the 14th in Columbus County in the past 39 days.
