Lisa Hart was a passenger in a car that crashed into a semi truck after failing to yield the right of way.

Hart was unable to survive the accident. Medical crews had to pronounce her dead at the scene.

The police in Clark County are continuing to investigate the fatal crash.

The police officer was driving westbound on Highway 544 when the collision occurred with an eastbound vehicle about to make a left turn onto Singleton Ridge Road around 2 p.m. Thursday.

Timmy Fulmer, a correctional officer at a state prison facility in Tabor City, North Carolina, was a passenger in the second vehicle and was killed in the accident.

The driver and the officer are at Conway Hospital listed in serious but stable condition.

Smith, 23, pleaded guilty to reckless driving when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck another vehicle in June 2007. Smith’s friend, Andre Bell, 21, was killed in the accident. Smith, a passenger in his vehicle, and a female driver of the other vehicle also suffered injuries.

On Tuesday, Judge Debra Gelson of the Millstone Municipal Court in New Jersey sentenced Smith to 90 days with 60 days suspended. He is also ordered to perform 500 hours of community service in hospitals with sick children.

According to the preliminary investigation, the victims were in a car traveling eastbound on Rock Creek when the driver lost control and drove off the road and hit a tree east of 24th Avenue NE around 12:20 a.m. Sunday.

Stephanie Masten, 17, and Stephen Tyler, 19, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Gaylon Phillips, 21, was taken to Norman Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Shelby Shea, 18, was also taken to Norman Regional Hospital and listed in serious condition.

The accident is under investigation.

One person was ejected in the accident when the vehicle overturned. Two people were flown to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno suffering injuries. The collision occurred at Interstate 5 and Paul Negra Road around 12:30 p.m.

The identities of the victims have not been released pending family notification.

Horace Adams, 81, of Dunkirk, Calvert County, was traveling on Southern Maryland Blvd when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a guardrail off the roadway around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Adams was ejected from the vehicle on the passenger side while the vehicle continued back onto the roadway and came to a rest in a group of trees.

Adams was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Police determined driver error to be the cause of the accident.

A vehicle was traveling northbound on MoPac Expressway when the driver lost control of the vehicle and ran into one of the supporting columns for the Duval Road overpass, coming to a stop on the embankment, according to investigators.

The driver and sole occupants of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the accident scene. It is unknown if speed or alcohol were contributing factors in the collision, which is under investigation.

Louis Spero, 60, of Riverhead was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Sunrise Highway when he was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Paul Nelson, 35, of Riverhead between exists 62 and 63.

Spero’s truck lost control and rolled over into the center median. Spero, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Nelson’s vehicle also lost control and came to a stop in the center median.

Nelson was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance seventh degree, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree.

Dennis Hudlow, 58, of Damascus, was thrown from his motorcycle when he collided into a vehicle on state Route 80 that was stopped to make a left turn at Chaucer Court in Monrovia at about 10 p.m. Saturday.

Hudlow’s helmet came off on impact. He was airlifted to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore where he was pronounced dead about four hours after.

The driver of the stopped vehicle, a 16-year-old Monrovia girl, did not suffer any injuries in the accident.

Two male teenagers, a pregnant woman with an unborn baby, and another person were killed when they were ejected from the Ford Explorer they were traveling in when the vehicle overturned and rolled into the median on Interstate 15 near Mona.

Seven people were traveling in the SUV. The sixth occupant was partially ejected from the vehicle while the seventh passenger was stuck inside.
The pregnant woman was transported by a medical helicopter, according to Santaquin Fire Chief Shane Bott.

All southbound lanes near the accident scene were closed while the accident was cleared.

Three of the occupants were in fair condition.

It is possible that tire failure played a role in the crash.
