On Jan. 24 around 2 p.m., 18-year-old Tyler Rosen was crashed into by a vehicle while he was walking down a horse trail in Norco. Police reported that the driver had swerved through traffic before hitting Rosen. The car then fled the scene after seeing what had happened, according to witnesses.

The victim was put under a medically induced coma while hospitalized.

Andrew Dean Murvine of Norco, along with his truck, has been taken into custody as the suspected culprit.

The crash took place on Route 5 in Herkimer, New York around 5:50pm. The truck that had a plow attached to it crashed into a 01’ Chevrolet Prism causing it to smash into the guardrail. A 04’ Dodge Durango then struck the truck from behind causing a three-car pileup.

The driver of the truck fled the scene of the accident. State police are now looking for the truck that would be banged up in the rear.

After leaving an event and driving through Burbank a car crashed into her chauffered Lincoln Town Car.

The town car was totaled and Lewis suffered minor injuries including soreness.

Police are continuing to investigate the hit and run.

The event Lewis had attended was for a new movie she is starring in, called Conviction.

The alleged offender, 31-year-old William Simkins, was reported to have hit Jacob Broschard while he was on his bicycle last Monday near 2 a.m.

Broschard was unable to survive the crash.

Simkins is now facing charges for failure to report an accident, reckless driving, and fleeing the scene of an accident.

The case has been sent to be reviewed by the superior court. As requested by Simkins after being told his rights, a public defender will be assigned to his case.

Police are conducting a full investigation into the fatal accident.

The unidentified victim was hit by a Volkswagen Jetta being driven by Carlos Bertonatti. Bertonatti fled the scene dragging the damaged bicycle several blocks before being arrested by Key Biscayne authorities.

The bicyclist was unable to survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are conducting an investigation into the fatal hit-and-run.

The victim was riding his bicycle across a street with two others with the van crashed into him. The van fled the scene of the accident.

Medical crews rushed the seriously injured boy to a local hospital for treatment. He sustained injuries to the face and head.

Authorities are conducting an investigation into the accident and continuing their search for the driver of the minivan.

Larry D. Caraway, 19, of Madison, was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle at the 4900 block of Verona Road just before 10:50 p.m. Saturday night.

The driver fled the scene but was later arrested by police and identified as Robert E. Jones, 27. Jones faces charges for failure to render aid.

Caraway was pronounced dead at the scene from major internal trauma he suffered in the collision.

Charles King, 72, of Dallas, was traveling on his motorcycle on Interstate 635 near Centerville Road when he was struck by a vehicle, sending his motorcycle into the path of a semi tractor-trailer rig. The responsible vehicle, described by witnesses only as a dark colored car, fled the accident scene.

King, who had ridden a motorcycle for almost 60 years, was killed in the accident.

Garland police are searching for the hit-and-run vehicle and investigating the accident.

The 50-something woman, whose identity has not been released, was struck by a private sanitation truck at about 10 p.m. Wednesday while she was traveling on 40th Street and Ninth Avenue. The woman was transported to Saint Vincent’s Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The driver of the private sanitation truck, who had fled the scene, was found later by police and claimed he was not aware that he had struck the woman.

Police have ruled the hit-and-run collision an accident, and no charges have been filed.
