A pickup truck driven by Kenneth Mathias, 36, of Minoa was traveling northbound on State Route 13 when he attempted to make a left turn into Lyon’s Auction and turned into the path of a southbound motorcycle driven by Rondald D. Nicholson, 61, of Boonville around 2:20 p.m. Monday.

Nicholson and his passenger, Joyce A. Anna, 68, of Boonville were thrown from the motorcycle.

Nicholson was taken to Oneida Health Care where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Anna was airlifted to University Hospital with injuries.

Mathias was not injured in the accident.

Robert Joseph Griffith, 31, of of the 5200 block of Lake Ave. in Shady Side, was riding a 2001 Suzuki southbound on Route 3 when he began to lose control of the vehicle around 1:15 a.m. Saturday.

The motorcycle drove into a curb, causing the vehicle to fly into the air and hit a tree.

Griffith was killed in the accident.

The man, whose name has not yet been released, was found in the water of Wareham River Saturday by the Wareham harbormaster who performed CPR on him.

The man was transported to Tobey Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The accident is under investigation by the Massachusetts Environmental Police.

The 42-year-old man was riding a motorcycle when the vehicle was struck by a truck as he attempted to pass it on the Route 3.

The man, whose name has not been released, was killed in the accident.

A 22-year-old female passenger on the motorcycle was transported to Central Maine Medical Center with critical injuries.

Route 3 was closed for around four hours Sunday afternoon.

The occupants of the truck did not suffer injuries.

Stephen Leon Alexander, 51, of Pampa, was driving his sports utility vehicle on Highway 60 when he drove off the roadway, struck a light pole, and overturned into a ditch around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Alexander, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Jesus Garcia, of Rio Grande City, was traveling to a rural pipeline base site in his service truck when the vehicle was struck by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train just outside of Berthold, North Dakota Sunday afternoon.

Allegedly, Garcia was crossing the tracks despite activated signals warning that a train was approaching.

Richard Farkas, 29, of Hawley Avenue, was crossing the railroad tracks with two other men as they walked back from a convenience store. As the Amtrak train approached, two men continued to walk while Farkas stayed on the train tracks.

Farkas was pronounced dead at the scene, near the railroad tracks on West State Street where he was found shortly after the train passed by.

The accident is under investigation.

Glenn Shepard, 59, of Columbia Falls, was riding an ATV along an old logging road when he lost control and was thrown from the vehicle around 7:30 p.m. Thursday about 18 miles up the west side of Hungry Horse Dam Road.

Responders performed CPR but Shepard, whose head had struck the ground, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Chris C. Lewis, 30, of Linsay, was driving a sports utility vehicle northbound on a county road when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran the vehicle off the roadway and hit a tree around 4 p.m. Monday.

Lewis was partially ejected from the vehicle, which overturned on top of him. Lewis was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

It is believed that alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.

The man in his 30’s, whose name has not been released, was reportedly crossing the tracks at the San Jose Diridon station on his bicycle when he was struck by a off-duty Caltrain at about 4:10 p.m. Friday. Reportedly, the crossing gates were down at the time of the accident.

The man was transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead several hours later.

Four trains were delayed because of the collision.

The San Jose Police Department is investigating the accident.
