Medical crews rushed the MFL MarMac School District students and their driver to three nearby hospitals for treatment.

According to the school’s superintendant, except for one student who is being held for observation all of the rest have since been released.

The accident that occurred around 8 a.m. in Monona is still under investigation by the police.

The morning’s weather consisted of patchy fog, which could have played a part.

Three coaches and the Virginia King’s Fork High School field hockey team made up a total of 20 people that were on their way home when the bus swerved off the rained on road.

Police and medical crews arrived on the scene and took 11 passengers to a local hospital to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

The unidentified bus driver was cited for the failure to maintain a lane of travel. There is an ongoing investigation into the crash.

The teenager was attempting to cross the street in a crosswalk at MacArthur Boulevard and Dimond Avenue when he was struck by the school bus just before 8:10 a.m.

The teenager suffered moderate injuries in the collision, and was able to be treated at the scene by emergency personnel without being taken to a hospital as of 9 a.m., according to police.

Oakland police and California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene of the accident, which was reported at 8:10 a.m.

The accident is being investigated by CHP.

A passenger vehicle waiting to turn at the intersection of Leeland Heights Boulevard and Fifth Avenue was hit from behind by another passenger vehicle around 2 p.m. Tuesday. The school bus then ran into the second vehicle.

Two students were transported to a hospital and were released with minor injuries, said Lee County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tony Schall.

An adult that was involved in the crash, it is unknown which vehicle they were traveling in, was also treated and released.

Six vehicles were waiting in the turn lane on southbound Park Heights Avenue to turn left onto Brooks Robinson Drive when they were in a chain reaction accident involving the bus, which was en route to Pikeville Middle School. A black SUV near the turn lane was also involved in the collision, which occurred around 7:45 a.m.

Three child occupants on the bus suffered minor injuries in the incident. and were transported to Sinai Hospital in good condition.

Five adults suffered injuries in the accident, only one of which was seriously injured, and they were transported to either Sinai or Northwest hospitals.

The accident is under investigation.

The ninth grader and her friend got off their school bus when she dropped something in front of the bus. When the victim walked in front of the bus she was struck by the vehicle as it pulled away.

The bus driver claims she never saw the student in front of the vehicle.

The students name has not been released but the principal of her school stated she was an A-student, and an excellent volleyball and basketball player.

The accident is under investigation. No charges have been filed as of yet.

The accident occurred at around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 1st Street and New York Avenue in northwest Washington, according to D.C. fire department spokesman Ken Crosswhite.

According to Crosswhite, around 16 children that were occupants of the buses suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are under evaluation.

No further details regarding the accident have been released. The accident is being investigated by authorities.

Dominick Lee Strey, 6, a student at Greenway elementary student, exited the bus with his brother and cousin outside his grandparents’ home south of Calumet on County Rd. 12 when he walked in front of the bus to pick up a paper of his that had fallen.

The driver of the bus, Anita Diana Olson Ketola, 57, did not see Strey and began to drive, running the boy over just before 4:00 p.m. Monday.
Strey was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Ketola is an employee of Greenway, but did not return to work the next day.
With help from the State Patrol, Itasca County continues to investigate the accident.

Kenneth Collins, age 66 and of Oliver Springs, was driving his Nissan Frontier pickup truck on Highway 61 when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming Roane County school bus. The accident occurred outside of Oliver Springs in front of Kellytown Baptist Church.
The driver of the pickup, whose identity has not been released, was killed in the collision.

The driver of the bus, a bus attendee, and two students traveling on the bus were all transported to a hospital with minor injuries. They were treated and released.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.

Dominick Lee Strey, 6, of Calumet, exited the Greenway School District bus around 4 p.m. Monday and walked in front of it when the bus moved forward and knocked him down. Strey, a student at Vandyke Elementary School, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The female 57-year-old bus driver is an employee of the Greenway School District.

The accident is under investigation with help from the Minnesota State Patrol that will reconstruct the accident. No charges have been made at this time.
