			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Two snowmobile riders were injured Saturday night in an accident in New Hampshire.</p>
<p>According to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, the two riders were in Colebrook when they crashed into a fence after losing control of their snowmobile.</p>
<p>Emergency Medical Crews rushed the two to the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital for treatment. One of the riders smashed into a tree in the accident and was later airlifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for further treatment. The victim reportedly suffered serious internal injuries.</p>
<p>An investigation is being fully conducted by wildlife officials.</p>
<p>The names of the two riders have not yet been given.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A woman was killed in a snowmobile accident when she collided with a tree near Woodfords in the eastern Sierra Wednesday afternoon.</p>
<p>Patricia Warren, of San Diego, was riding a snowmobile in the Blue Lakes snow park in Alpine County when she lost control of the Arctic Cat snowmobile and ran into a tree.</p>
<p>Warren was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.</p>
<p>A passenger riding on the back of Warren’s snowmobile was airlifted to a hospital in Reno, Nevada with minor injuries, and was treated and released.</p>
<p>The accident occurred Wednesday afternoon about 12 miles off the Blue Lakes access road near Woodfords, California, said Alpine County sheriff&#8217;s Sgt. Ron Michitarian.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Joyce Carle, 66, of Fort Dodge, was driving a snowmobile with her daughter and passenger, Tracy Van De Pol, 40, of Ankeny, Sunday morning. The two had traveled off the trail and the snowmobile collided into a tree, according to a Lawrence  County sheriff&#8217;s office news release.<br />

<p class="MsoNormal">Van De Pol was killed in the collision. Carle was airlifted to Rapid City Regional Hospital with serious injuries.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Van De Pol and Carle were traveling with other family members but no one else was involved or injured in the accident.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">It is not believed that speed or alcohol was involved in the accident, which is under investigation.</p>

<p>Daniel Barhorst, 25, of Cincinnati, was traveling on a snowmobile when he lost control of the vehicle as he attempted to go around a bend near the town of Newberry, located in Michigan&#8217;s Upper Peninsula. Barhorst was traveling on a road that is closed to the public for the winter season.</p>
<p>Both Barhorst and his wife, Megan, 25, who was a passenger on the snowmobile, were thrown from the vehicle.</p>
<p>Daniel was killed in the accident. Megan survived.</p>
<p>It is not believed that alcohol was involved in the accident, said police.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">The Monona County Sheriff responded to a call at 2:30 a.m. Monday regarding two snowmobilers that were missing from their home which is located north of Onawa. Around 5:00 a.m. Monday the two were found by rescue crews and were then flown to Crosgrove to Sioux City. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">Sandra Dekeyser, 53, of Onawa was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and her son-in-law, Travis Crosgrove, 29, is in critical condition at Mercy Medical  Center. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">According to a friend of the family, the family of the victims is splitting their time between the hospital and creating funeral arrangements for Sandra. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">John Tracy, 19, of Auburn, was snowmobiling with four of his friends, and was second in line when he attempted to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Pitcher Road and Flat Rock and lost control of his snowmobile. The vehicle rolled over and ejected Tracy.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Responders attempted to resuscitate Tracy at the accident scene, but were unsuccessful. Tracy was transported to Lewis County  General Hospital where he was pronounced.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The accident is under investigation by State Police in Lowville.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A teenage boy was injured when he flew off the edge of a gravel pit on a snowmobile he was riding Saturday in Eden   Valley, Minnesota.</p>
<p>The 16-year-old boy, whose name has not been released, was riding up a hill in an unfamiliar area when the hill abruptly ended. The boy flew into the gravel pit and fell 40 to 50 feet before he landed in the frozen sand below, according to a news release from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Department.</p>
<p>The accident was reported at 4:32 p.m. Saturday on private property in Eden Valley  Township. The boy was transported to St. Cloud  Hospital where he was treated for injuries suffered in the accident.</p>
<p>The accident is under investigation.</p>
