Takoma Park Woman Killed When Run Over By Car

A elderly woman suffered fatal injuries when she was run over by a car in Takoma Park, Montgomery County.

The 84-year-old woman, of Takoma Park, was found by a neighbor pinned underneath her 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue and notified police. Police believe that when the woman left her vehicle she did not realize that it was not in park and it rolled backward over her.

The woman, whose identity has not been released pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
