Teenager Injured In School Bus Accident

A male teenager was injured when he was struck by a school bus Wednesday morning at a crosswalk in Oakland, California.

The teenager was attempting to cross the street in a crosswalk at MacArthur Boulevard and Dimond Avenue when he was struck by the school bus just before 8:10 a.m.

The teenager suffered moderate injuries in the collision, and was able to be treated at the scene by emergency personnel without being taken to a hospital as of 9 a.m., according to police.

Oakland police and California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene of the accident, which was reported at 8:10 a.m.

The accident is being investigated by CHP.
