Teenager Killed in One-Vehicle Accident

A teenager was killed in an accident Thursday afternoon when he was traveling in an out of control vehicle on Interstate 30 in Arkansas.

Justin Eanes, 22, of Benton, was driving a Chevy Blazer on an Interstate 30 service road when he lost control of the vehicle at the Mile Marker 121 exit, driving off the roadside and overturning. Justin Eanes and Passenger Brandon Eanes, 19, were ejected from the vehicle.

Brandon Eanes was killed in the accident. The extent of Justin Eanes’s injuries is unknown at this time.

Neither man was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the accident. According to troopers, it was raining at the time of the accident which may have been a factor in the incident.
