Teenager Killed in One-Vehicle Acciedent
A male teenager was killed early Thursday morning in a one-vehicle accident in East Hampton, Connecticut.
According to police, Robert Kochuk, 19, of 28 Barbara Road, East Hampton, was driving 2002 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck southbound on North Main Street when he lost control of the truck and drove off the east side of the roadway. The truck hit multiple garbage cans and a tree before bursting into flames, police said.
Kochuk was killed in the accident. No one else was traveling in the truck with him.
The accident is under investigation. Police believe that speeding played a role in the accident.













Rob worked with my dad and he was my friend. I am very hurt this happened because I miss him a lot. I knew him for about a year and a half. I went to his wake and they had his hat and magizines, it was very sad. Especially because he was not in a casket because he couldn’t be.
