Teenager Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident

A teenager was killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning near Meckling in southeast South Dakota.

A 17-year-old boy from Yankton was driving one of the vehicles westbound on Highway 50 when the accident occurred. He was killed in the accident. A 17-year-old girl in his vehicle and a 16-year-old girl driving the second vehicle, both from Yankton, were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim’s identities have not been released.
