Ten People, Including Nine Children, Injured in Crash

Ten people, including nine children, suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident in central Iowa Wednesday afternoon.

A white van was traveling on Highway 141 near Grimes Wednesday afternoon when it failed to make a turn and struck a second van occupying nine children and two adults, causing the second van to overturn into a ditch.

One child was airlifted to the hospital while eight others and the adult driver of the white van were also transported to the hospital with varying injuries.
