Three Arizonians Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident

Three people were killed and seven others are suffering serious injuries in result of a two-vehicle accident on US 93 near Wikieup in northwestern Arizona Sunday afternoon, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety

The accident occurred after 3:30 p.m. at milepost 145 on northbound US 93. Three people with serious injuries were taken by helicopter to Phoenix-area hospitals and three others were transported to Kingman hospitals.

All lanes except one were closed to northbound traffic on the busy US 93 near the State Route 71 junction as officials continue their investigation of the crash.
