Three People Injured When Ejected in Roll-Over Accident

Three people were injured when they were ejected in a roll-over accident Wednesday morning near Rudd, Iowa.

According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office a vehicle was traveling westbound on the Avenue of the Saints when it lost control and ran into the median, then rolling over and finally coming to a rest in the east bound lane of traffic around 7:25 a.m.

Three people that were traveling in the vehicle were ejected. They were transported to a local hospital where two are in critical condition and the third is in serious condition. Their names have not been released.

An off duty E.M.T. was the first to respond to the accident, followed by area emergency response.

The highway was closed for over an hour as the Iowa State Patrol reconstructed the accident.
