Three People Killed in Delaware Accident

Three people were killed in an accident on Route 1 in Milford, Delaware on Monday.

The accident occurred on Route 1 and shut down both Route 1 northbound and Route 113 northbound, two highways in the Milford area, according to an officer at the scene of the accident.

Vehicles traveling on Route 1 are being detoured onto New Wharf Road and allowed back onto Route 1 just north of the scene.

Three people were killed in the accident, which remains under investigation by the Milford Police Department. The identities of the victims have not been released and the cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
