Truck Smashes into Van Injuring 8 Michigan People
Eight Michigan people were injured Monday after a truck smashed into their van.
Renee Bartlett, 40, drove through a stop sign while looking at the truck’s GPS system and crashed into the Cook family’s van. The van went rolling and the nine family members were trapped inside.
Medical crews arrived and helped free the Cooks then rushed eight of them to local hospitals for treatment. The only one who did not need treatment was the driver, 54-year-old Leon Neal cook.
As of now, charges have not yet been filed. Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
