Two Men Killed in Arkansas Boating Accident
Two men suffered fatal injuries in a boating accident on the Red River in south Arkansas Friday, stated authorities.
Lawrence Link, 40, of Murfreesboro, was boating with Michael O’Neal, 29, of Murfreesboro, and two other people when their 16-foot aluminum boat was flooded with water.
According to authorities, the four men, who had gone camping near Fulton on the Red River, left the boat and only two of which were able to successfully swim to shore.
Link’s body was recovered on Monday by police. O’Neal’s body was found Tuesday morning.
Their bodies will be transported to the state Crime Laboratory in Little Rock.
