Two Men Killed in Lake Winnipesaukee Boating Accident

Two men were killed in a boating accident in Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire on Saturday morning.

William McCann, 56, and Daniel Benjamin, 50, both of Meredith, were boating in Cavaliers Cove in Center Harbor when their small boat overturned.

Their bodies were recovered Saturday afternoon by the Marine Patrol, who received a call about the boat around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

According to investigators the men had been fishing when the accident occurred. It is not believed that alcohol was a factor.
