Two Men Killed in Rollover Accident in Alaska
Two people were killed over the weekend as a result of a Fairbank accident.
Corey Annis, 23, lost control and drove his 98′ Pontiac Firebird into a ditch. The car rolled then came to a stop within the property of an ethanol plant.
A passenger in the car, 49-year-old Brad Higgins, was unable to survive the fatal impact.
Critically injured Annis was immediately airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
Annis was unable to survive his injuries and was pronounced dead Saturday.
While rolling, the car hit a valve at the plant, which brought about an evacuation of the plant in order to avoid a potentially dangerous situation.
