Two People Injured in Three-Vehicle Collision

Two people suffered injuries in a three-vehicle accident Monday afternoon on Ohio 95 in Marion, Ohio.

Three cars rear-ended each other at an intersection on Ohio 95 in front of Perkins. According to Platoon Chief Rob Cowell, two people were taken by Marion City firefighters to Marion General Hospital and suffered injuries. Their conditions have not been released.

Names of the occupants injured in the accident have not been made available.

Troopers are investigating the accident, said a dispatcher from the Marion post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. It is not known what caused the accident or if alcohol or speed were contributing factors.
