Two People Killed in Hancock County Crash

Two people were killed and two suffered injuries in a car accident in Hancock County Thursday morning.

A 1998 Toyota Camry traveling southbound on R74 reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt traveling westbound on B14 at the intersection of the county roads around 5 a.m. Thursday.

Harlan Derr, 58, of Rudd, and Tyler Brighton, 19, of Lake Mills, were both pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the Camry, Koh Tsuruta, 19, of Lake Mills, and passenger Alexander Mosby, 19, of Lake Mills both suffered injuries.
